Sail is a live sound sculpture performance by Shankar Saanthakumar, featuring a kinetic replica of his body, guided through space by the vibrating currents of dream logic.

Fascinated by the transformation of matter – from gas clouds, to planets, to bodies – Saanthakumar imagines this process in reverse. Sail takes the form of a sci-fi vessel, where the body becomes both sail and ship, launching not from orbit, but from within The Art School.
